In 2015, I joined two sales-oriented visionaries to build Remodel Health. We helped transform employee benefits by becoming the market-leading ICHRA platform. Over seven exhilarating years, I wore many hats and built several teams. By the time I stepped down, we were nearing $8M in ARR on only $2M in funding.

Then came my health insurance sabbatical of sorts. I engaged with startups as a fractional executive (financially sweet but influence-light), and even attempted to revolutionize food-as-medicine for consumers (spoiler alert: D2C is not my superpower).

Running from your calling has a funny way of catching up to you. After a few years of exploration, family-building, and some honest soul-searching, I had my "aha" moment. Health insurance wasn't my past — it was my home court. It's where my experience, passion, and ability to make a difference aligned perfectly. In 2024, I returned to health insurance as COO of Presidio, the perfect blend of my faith and skillset.

Sometimes, the most powerful way to drive change isn't by building, but by sharing the right stories and fostering relationships. In my down time, I make health insurance easier to understand at Midfolk and am dedicated to building intentional community for high-achieving men through Banded — a local community designed for male business owners and entrepreneurs looking to connect, grow, and make a meaningful impact.
